Transmashholding Will Connect 1,100 Production Machines to Dispatcher System by the End of 2020

By the end of 2020 another 338 production machines of the Kolomna Locomotive Works and Bryansk Machine-Building Plant (both belong to Transmashholding JSC, one of the largest manufacturers of locomotives and rail equipment in Russia) will be connected to AIS Dispatcher, which is the system for industrial equipment monitoring. The total number of machines having the system installed will reach 1,100 units.

Some time ago, Novocherkassk Electric Locomotive Plant (NEVZ) and Tver Car Building Plant (TVZ) were connected to the Dispatcher system under the first part of the comprehensive digitization plan of Transmashholding enterprises. At present, operation of 762 machines is under the system’s control.

In addition to implementing the engineering solution offered by the Smolensk engineers to Transmashholding enterprises, it is expected to further expand the system functionality: for example, by adding vibration monitoring and developing a mathematical model for failure prediction, which will allow for predicative maintenance of equipment.

It should be recalled that the Dispatcher system, designed for personnel and industrial equipment monitoring, was developed by Stankoservis Innovation Centre which is a member of an IT cluster established in the Smolensk Region. It enables to perform real-time monitoring of any equipment operating on the production site and provides tools for improving production performance. The system is compatible with any industrial machinery regardless of the year of manufacture and producer, including CNC machines. The data on technical condition and machine work load are collected without human involvement, thus ensuring their objectivity, reliability and applicability to the maximum possible extent. At the moment AIS Dispatcher has been integrated at more than 200 enterprises in Russia and neighbouring CIS countries, such as Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corporation, Rostec State Corporation, Russian Helicopters JSC and United Aircraft Corporation.
