"Organization of the development of new peat deposits for the extraction and processing of peat" in the Smolensk region

In May 2020, the Administration of the Smolensk Region and TORFOPROM LLC signed an agreement on cooperation in the implementation of the investment project "Organization of the development of new peat deposits for the extraction and processing of peat" in the Smolensk region.

The company has a valid license for the exploration and extraction of peat in the subsurface area at the Oster field. In December 2020, TORFOPROM LLC won an auction for the development of a new section of the Oster field.

The current enterprise produces the following products: peat packaging in "big bags", bags of various sizes, fertilizers, liquid additives, peat humates (liquid extract from peat).

As part of the project, machinery and attachments for peat extraction were purchased, and a station for distributing diesel fuel to vehicles was installed.

A new line for the production of cover soil (for growing mushrooms) has been installed.
