As part of the investment agreement between the Government of the Smolensk Region and Smetanino Poultry Farm LLC, the construction of two new poultry houses with a total area of 9.3 thousand square meters and an egg storage area of 1.4 thousand square meters has been completed. In addition, a modern egg sorting machine with a capacity of 180 thousand tons was purchased and launched. eggs per hour.

The total investment in the project amounted to 950 million rubles, and 15 new jobs were created. As a result of the project, the poultry population increased by 520 thousand heads and reached 1 million 396 thousand heads, which allowed to increase the volume of egg production by 120 million eggs per year to 380.7 million. Thus, the company increased egg production from 700,000 to 1 million eggs per day, significantly strengthening the region's position in the agro-industrial sector.

This project is a vivid example of successful cooperation between business and government aimed at developing agriculture and ensuring food security. The commissioning of new facilities makes it possible to increase the production of high-quality products, create new jobs and increase economic activity in the Smolensk region.

In addition, as part of the project to provide the poultry farm with feed from its own production, Smetanino Poultry Farm LLC is putting into circulation federal agricultural land provided to the company on a long-term lease in 2024.

The company has started growing rapeseed and wheat in fields that have not been cultivated for more than 30 years, with an area of 2.65 thousand hectares. In 2025, about 1,200 hectares have already been put into agricultural circulation. In 2026, it is planned to put into circulation the entire array of the provided lands.

Smetanino Poultry Farm LLC is one of the key egg producers in the Central Federal District, and its development will have a positive impact on the local labor market and economy.
