Progress report on “Establishment of a flax cultivation and primary processing plant with subsequent cut flax fibre processing” investment project which is implemented by Tovarishchestvo Lnyanaya Manufaktura LLC (the Roslavl District) 

Project Delivery Time: 2019 – 2023 

Total Investment Amount: 130 Mio Rub. 

Social Return: 35 new jobs 

Under the investment project, there are scheduled: 

2019-2020: flax cultivation, flax straw primary processing as well as long and cut flax fibre manufacturing. 

2020-2023: cut flax fibre advanced processing, non-woven flax material and cotton flax manufacturing. 

After putting the production into operation, it is planned to export short, long, short clean flax fiber, as well as flax batting to the countries of the European Union, the People's Republic of China and the EAEU.

At present, the investor has registered ownership of a land plot and the production buildings in Roslavl. Repairing of the facilities is on the closing stage. There has been also purchased equipment for the primary flax processing, as well as the line for cleaning flax fiber.
