Progress report on the “Establishment of a soft-drink producing and bottling plant” investment project (the Vyazma District)

Kral-Konserv LLC has been producing and bottling natural juice in the territory of the Vyazma District for over 10 years. The enterprise production, the output of which currently amount to 7 Mio liters a year, is exported to the countries of the European Union (Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, etc.), as well as to China, Malaysia and the United States. At the same time, a part of products of Kral- Konserv LLC is under control of the Department of Kashrut of the Chief Rabbinate of Russia - from purchasing fresh pomegranates in Azerbaijan, processing and bottling to product packaging. The company also introduced the HACCP ISO 22000:2007 food safety management system. 

Within the framework of the Sochi-2019 Russian investment forum, there was signed an Agreement on cooperation in food industry between the Administration of the Smolensk Region and Kral-Konserv LLC. Under the agreement, there are plans to implement an investment project for new export-oriented plant construction in the territory of the Vyazma District, where soft-drink producing and bottling are to be carried out. The plant product range will include not only juices, but also lemonades, with the production output increase from 7 to 20 Mio liters a year. 

There has been completed construction of the first plant building, as well as administrative and amenity building, and have been created 20 job openings. Under the second stage, there has been started construction of the second building: currently structural steel works are in progress. The investment project implementation is expected to be completed in November 2020.
