Investment project for increasing the milk processing output and establishing a distribution center in the Smolensk District

Katyn AgroFarm is engaged in production and sale of milk and dairy products such as sour cream, curd, butter, cheese, etc. 

The investment project provides for the dairy shop modernization, rebuild of its production premises as well as sanitary and amenity facilities in order to increase the raw milk processing output to 30 tons a day, and construction of a distribution center, including production and sanitary premises for product storage, as well as the purchase of refrigeration chambers. To date, there has been built the distribution center. Also, there was carried out the sanitary and amenity facilities modernization in the production building with provision of the sanitary inspection station and the end products storage room. In 2020, there are plans to purchase a cheese production line and a12-ton milk truck. 

Some equipment items were purchased (two containers for raw milk storage of 20 tons each, milk packaging lines, fermented dairy products bottling line and other). Equipment installation works were performed. To date, the investor has registered ownership of the land plot and the production building, purchased refrigeration facilities for 10 coolers under finance lease. The company was attested according to the ISO 22 000 international standards under the HACCP requirements.
