Governor of the Smolensk region Vasily Nikolaevich Anokhin told on his pages in social networks about the opening of the exhibition "History of Smolensk entrepreneurship: legacy, generating future!" Smolensk
Vasily Anokhin: "The project is being implemented by the Ministry of Investment Development and the Smolensk center "My Business" with grant support from the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives."
It is devoted to the history of Smolensk entrepreneurship, products produced in the region at various times, and contributions of patrons and philanthropists to the development of the region.
The mobile exhibition project started on 24 November 2025.
The first to host an exhibition was Yartsev municipal district, where more than 385 students were able to visit the exhibition space. In addition, a visit to the plant that produces cotton fabrics was organized to acquaint young people with production processes.
In February 2026, the exhibition was presented in the Pochinkovsky and Roslavl districts, where around 650 visitors were able to familiarize themselves with the exposition. Also, in order to promote the industrial potential of the region, a visit was organized to garment production in Pochinka and production of glassware in the city of Roslavl.
The governor noted that now the exhibition has a permanent place: «On March 24, its opening took place in the Art-space of the Industrial Park "Bachus" in Smolensk. The first guests of the renewed exhibition space were activists of the "Young Guard" party "United Russia".
Currently, school and college students are actively registering for the tour.
For the general public, the exhibition will open in the second half of April and can be visited in the Art Space at: Karachevsky Lane 4 upon prior registration.
