PC «Agribusiness firm «Nasha Zhitnitsa» was founded in Gagarinsky District of the Smolensk Region, in July 2013 in order to develop agribusiness.
The project development consists of a number of stages. The first stage: «Plants growing and plants selling». The construction of the modern complex of grain conditioning and storage lasted from 2013 to 2015. The new agrotechnical complex for grain conditioning and storage includes a grain separator and a drying unit KZS-30, the elevator volume is 30 tons, the production capacity is 30 tons per hour. The manufacturer is planning to increase the elevator volume upto 10 000 tons in 2016-2017.

The second stage: “The construction of the complex for 1200 cows (the total number of cows is 3200) for production of milk and meat”. The project was launched in 2015 and it will be completed in 2017.

The second stage: «The construction of feeding facilities for 1800 stall-fed steer». The construction of the slaughter unit with the capacity of 10 heads a shift (the unit capacity is 630 tons a year) is planned for 2016-2017”.

The volume of investment in the first stage was 498,5 mln rubles. The estimated volume of investment in the milk complex is 1292,8 mln rubles, at present the volume of investment is 23,7 mln rubles.

The company has purchased 73 machines and suspended units (16 tractors, 9 harvesters, 19 vehicles, 43 suspended units).

At present the company has 65 workers most of whom live in Gagarinsky or Novoduginsky Districts.

In 2015 the volume of harvested crop is high not only in comparison to other farms of Gagarinsky District but also to the Russian indicies.
Winter wheat was harvested from 1563 ha, 7451 tons were threshed, the average yield is 47,7centner per ha, 23 ha the output per ha was 66 centers. The winter wheat belongs to the 3-d class, which is a rare case for the Smolensk Region. Spring wheat was harvested from 460 ha, 2435 tons were threshed, the average yield is 52,9 centers per ha, the maximum output was 55,7 centers per ha. The “Zhitnitsa” harvested crop from 3607 ha, 14054 tons were threshed, the average yield is 38,9 centers per ha. Winter wheat was sown in 1609 ha.

The project of a milk complex for 1200 heads has been made out, it has received a positive expert evaluation. The construction of the complex will begin promptly.
