Construction of greenhouse complex Smolensky for production of vegetables and herbs has begun in Roslavl

Within the Territory of Development Forum the Governor of the Smolensk region Alexey Ostrovsky told about the beginning of construction of greenhouse complex Smolensky for production of vegetables and herbs in the Roslavl district and he promised to visit the building site of future enterprise in the nearest future.

The project Smolensky assumes construction of a greenhouse complex of 17,24 hectares with a total cost more than 3 billion rubles and it will work on the Dutch technology. The greenhouse facility is counted on year-round cultivation of cucumbers and also lettuce and herbs.

It is planned that exploitation of the first stage of the greenhouse of 9 hectares is planned in September, 2018, and the second turn of 8,24 hectares is planned in September, 2019. Social effect of the investment project is employment about 300 people.
